I'm wondering if anyone has had any issues with the plunger fillers on the Sheaffer Legacy. I just got the pen as NOS and tried to fill it, but it's not taking any ink. I even followed the directions that came with the pen thumbup.gif (imagine that). Could I be doing something wrong, or could it be defective?

I cross posted in the Sheaffer forum. Just looking for some help. Thanks.

I would recommend buying a new touchdown converter from www.penhero.com. The problem with new old stock (NOS) is that it is old, and old means that rubber parts may have aged beyond their expected life.

This is often the problem so easily fixed with a new converter. Or you could try cartridges (and if you like diffrent inks, fill them yourself).
