I bought a couple of Tryphon Clefs from Richard Binder earlier this year ( his last 2, I believe). I absolutely love the Clef -- nice celluloid, nice size, great smooth nib. But can't buy them anymore, and I lost one of the 2 I bought.
As the FPN review states, the name probably comes from the clef music symbol on the top.
Then this week I noticed the nib says "Iridium Point Paris" and it rang a bell with some pens I had seen recently.
Well, the Naki pens have the same logo and the same nib engraving. I wonder if Naki is the source of the Clefs. Anyone has any info on this? and suggestions for any good source of Naki pens ?
thanks !!

Not sure, but I have the Naki Paris Blue. It's a nice little pen. I got it from isellpens.com.

Naki's are the pens I was wondering if they are made by the same company that made the Tryphon.
I may just break down and get one. If they are made by the same as the Tryphon, they are probably great writers.
thanks

i just bought a naki from the bay that only put me back $0.99 + shipping, and i have to say it is an amazing writer. its second only to the parker 45 that i just picked up-i would say it trumps my lamy safari. the one that i bought off of ebay is from akideal-the same one from the website above...came with the converter, looks great, out together well. I cant see if it is the same nib, since it is semi hooded,
