Here's a scan of many of the inks I've used recently....

The paper is this nice cream textured stuff. I have no idea what it is.

I'll have more comparison scans like this soon. I'm trying to write a line each time I change inks. It's not very systematic but in the future it will be neater and say what pen I used.

thanks for the scan/ink samples.

Lots of variety!! Thanks for the scan.

I hope you're not expecting that lot to be indexed! tongue.gif

Oh well, at least the holidays are here for me now...

Thanks for the explosion of colour to brighten a grey morning in Norfolk.

I thought about doing it myself but then I changed my mind. Don't burden yourself Chris! I think you should consider leaving out ink names in the master thread. Just get down all the links to the scans, and worry about the descriptions later. "lots of Noodler's and mixes" will suffice!!

I should be writing a paper, but instead I scanned my latest "what I've used" lists.
Here you go. There are really large versions in my picasa folder, if you click on the link.

I'm not polluting FPN by posting so many pictures, am I? This is helpful, right? This more belongs in an Ecridor thread, so I will post it there too. InkyMods, tell me if I shouldn't multiply post images in different threads (although it might be relevant in both)...

...Following one ink with another in the pen without having flushed with water - I think.

If you do this with cartridges you'll get a magic moment when one ink b l e n d s through to the new one as the feed gets flushed through. Some like, some don't - but I would give it a go once to experience it.

AHHH! I've done that---just didn't know what it was called. The effects are pretty cool.
