After a recent fit of the e-bay induced red-mist, I am now the proud owner of a Filofax B5 sized Deskfax folder. The problem is that I rather like it and it's not easy to find a paper punch that will deliver the required 9 holes with the pinpoint accuracy that the folder requires. Anyone got one of these (nearly obsolete) things hanging around that they would like to exchange for money?

Thanks!

I have just about everything else, but not a 9 hole.

The biggest that I have excluding the Rollabind is a 6 hole Rapesco. Perhaps they might make a 9 hole???

Did you grab that beautiful new Buckingham Deskfax from the eBay seller in Austria? I really wanted to pick that up, but what with Christmas almost here, it wasn't a top priority for me.

In any case, the Deskfax hole layout is similar to the Personal, if I remember correctly, so you can try punching twice with a Personal size punch. I seem to recall reading in ancient Filofax catalogs that one of the features of the Deskfax was that you could easily fit in pages from a Personal size organizer.

It was more of an accidental purchase of a Filofax advertised as an A5 size. When it arrived it was a Deskfax, I've been to a local printer and had a couple of reams of 32lb (120gsm) paper cut to size and found an actual Filofax Deskfax punch at a specialist stationer in London.

That would have been exactly what I was looking for, unfortunately I've just spent over twice that amount on a less capable model here in the UK.

Thanks for the link, next time I need a punch with that sort of flexibility I will know where to get one!

Not sure if they still have them in the UK, but the Filofax USA site still has the Deskfax metal punch listed. I ordered one for myself yesterday.

It's the Deskfax one I got at the remarkably reasonable price of $100 plus postage.

God I love the cost of buying stuff in the UK, I only regret that we don't pay more tax!
