I have a Waterman Expert II fountain pen, which was unfortunately dropped on the floor. A piece of the nib has broken off rendering the pen useless. I have contacted Waterman's repair centre in the UK and they have quoted £31 for a replacement nib, which is what I paid for the pen originally. I can still pick up a brand new one for this amount so I don't really want to spend this much on the repair.
Is there any alternative route for repair? If not is it worth offering the pen in it's current condition for a minimal cost to members?
Any advice gladly received.
Many thanks
Matt
