Just won this on ebay for $20. According to the seller the pen works, and the set came with the original box and instruction booklet. Let me know what you think

48-50ish Waterman Taperite Crusader with gold colored aluminum caps. Good deal for $20! What color are those? Not sure I have seen one in that color. Mine is burgundy. Congrats!

So, what else did you buy!

Nice shopping spree.

The bodies are gray I believe, the seller must have the flash on, weird lighting,or a bright mid day sun behind him.

Actually, I have another thread about my new 51, and I also got a red NOS Esterbrook M2 with a few extra NOS nibs to try out, (from Richard Binder, the one in his monthly vintage pen assortment, i believe it's number 5 in the list) I have a few modern pens, but I really wanted to pick up a couple vintage pens, so I splurged after I sold my books back to the book store at school. And since I bought some new pens I just had to buy a nice display box to keep them in smile.gif

Since I'm new here, I'll introduce myself. I'm Jim, I'm 19, and live in Western MA, I also frequent thehighroad.org (right to carry, pro 2nd amendment forum) and the candlepower forums by the same sn. Been writing with a fountain pen sine the 6th grade and never looked back, still use one every day in college. Usually my vanishing point. My collection is small but growing.

Edit: does anybody know what size lead the pencil takes??
