Having just finished Mottishaw's article on iridium content in vintage pens, I'm left with a question. If iridium hasn't been used since the 50s, what's the current material for tipping on a nib?

Presumably an alloy based off Tungsten, Ruthenium, Rhodium, or Titanium? Combination of all, some, or none? Inquiring minds wanna know! smile.gif

Probably a proprietary alloy, different for each nib manufacturer.
