<b><u>ALL THREE PENS SOLD! THANKS!!</B></U>

------

Happy Saturday! Hope everyone has nailed down all of their Christmas shopping by now- it's going to start getting ugly at the malls soon... (wink)

Have you taken care of yourself yet? Are you going to find something you want/need/covet under the tree? Unless you've got a remarkably understanding (or at least enabling) significant other, the answer is probably a resounding, "No."

So fix it- take the bull by the horns and buy yourself a little Holiday pen happiness- it's better than getting a tie. Why not have a look-see at these consignment pens- something to make your yuletide merry...

But first, the Fine Print:

<i>(First "I want" e-mail takes the item. Domestic money orders, Paypal (either flavor) happily spent; no checks unless we've danced before, please. Price includes domestic Priority Mail shipping. Happy to ship Internationally (and with the weak dollar, now is the perfect time to buy from the States), but the price will be higher- please ask. If you've got someone who will give you the gift of pens, you're awfully lucky- folks around here try not to encourage my "habit"... (sad) )</i>

What have we got here?

<S><b>1) Parker Black and Pearl International, 18k EF Nib!</S> SOLD!</b>

You know, I used to look at pictures of modern Duofolds and think, "So what?" That was until I got my hands on one- these things are GORGEOUS! Every model I've handled, I've been blown away by the materials, and the Black and Pearl is no exception. It's just so...purty! Parker obviously paid attention to detail in crafting this resin.

This is the International Size- on par with a Pelikan M600. It falls into the "just right" slot for most people- not too big, not too small, not too thick, not too thin. You know- just right.

The pen sports the earlier "Arrow" imprint nib- I prefer it to the current "Spade" imprint. The nib is a very smooth 18K XF- should make for a nice writer. C/C filler (no converter).

Pen is in VG condition- only sign of use are some small scuffs on the cap bands. This is a really nice pen- make it yours for <S><b>$175</S> SOLD!</b>, shipped!

<S><b>2) OMAS Milord GT FP, 18k Medium</S> SOLD!</b>

<img src="http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a383/ttobbaa/consignment/1201/omasdetail.jpg"></center>

When I do consignment sales, I try not to dabble too much with the merchandise- best not to get too attached to something I'm supposed to sell- keeping them is sorta counter-productive. This one I just had to ink up and take for a spin...

SWEET!

Beautifully smooth 18k Medium nib, nice and wet, glides across the page, great size, well balanced... joy.

I'm also very surprised by how much I like the material- like the Duofolds, I always looked at pictures of these pens and couldn't figure out what the fuss was about- with the pen in hand, I now know what that fuss was about- it's gorgeous, and feels great in the hand. If this one doesn't sell, I'm keeping it. (happy)

The pen is a piston filler. It is 5.35" capped (I believe that makes it a Milord size?).

The pen is in Good condition- it's seen some use, but nothing drastic. I think just about anything showing on the barrel or cap could be buffed out, and if I had any talent at buffing (I don't) I'd take a whack at it and jack up the price. (wink) Like I said- nothing drastic, and once you get to using it you realy won't care- it's a great writer. Bring it home for the holidays for <b><S>$150</S> SOLD!</b>, shipped.

<S><b>FILCAO Atlantica, Fine Nib, Box, Papers, EXC Condition!</S> SOLD!</b>

<center><img src="http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a383/ttobbaa/consignment/1201/filcaoatlanticagroup.jpg"></center>

The FILCAO Atlantic is the "Maxima" version of the Columbia, designed by Richard Binder. No itty-bitty pen here- 5.55" capped, 5.15" uncapped, .57" barrel diameter.

The resin is a deep blue shot with flecks of orange and gold- very nice. Classic fountain pen style- washer clip, Greek Key band, and a button filler to boot!

Nib is a smooth Schmidt steel Fine- should make a very nice writer.

This pen is in EXC condition- I cannot find anything in the way of flaws- practically brand new with boxes and papers. I don't believe these are available anymore- sold for $200, this one can be yours for <b><S>$125</S> SOLD!</b>, shipped!

Gimme a holler!
