I bought my first P51 Vacumatic and as I am new on this topic I have a doubt. The nib is loose. If I loosen the hood, the nib will rotate. Is this normal or should it be locked? If this is not normal, is there a way to fix it without having my pen seen by a repairman who perhaps will take a week or more to do so?
Might the nib be glued or something by the sort?
Well, I apologize for my ignorance but I hope someday I will learn.
Thank you for your pieces of advice.

This was answered in the Repair Section post that you made earlier today....
