Business and other obligations have kept you obedient Moderator busy these past few weeks. I have one more week of business travel to go, that should not stop what I have planned for our group. Based on the relatively low activity on the forum of late, I fear I have not done my part to interject some new post topics to stimulate things. That will end over the next few days and weeks. There will be some interesting posts and photos of rarely seen items as well as some interesting (hopefully) internal workings information about some of the more common items.
One of the first new items will be a discussion and photo essay on the repair and restoration of the late Oxford pens with the twist sac filling system.
Stay tuned.

The promised photo-essay will appear over the weekend (if all goes well). That is when I , the camera with the photos on it and my computer will all be together at one time. Winding up a trip to Boston, Dallas, and Houston right now. Please hang in there and the post you are interested in will appear soon enough. The photos in question were taken during the recent resto of Alriel's very own pen, so I am sure he will want them to be part of the new provenance, that verifies repair was really a restoration to original specs.
Thanks for the encouragement

I would like to see someone explain and decipher the Wahl Eversharp numbering code for me.... for the early pens, into the personal point pens...
that is if we are taking requests!
