Full Version: Where can I find a couple of Vac parts?

Hey, everybody. I posted this in the Marketplace, but since this is a Parker-specific forum....

I have a 1935 Parker Vacumatic that needs a tassie & jewel for the blind cap. My Vac is the emerald pearl striated version. I can try to get a photo, if necessary, showing the blind cap without its decorations. Does anybody out there happen to have these couple of parts? This was my grandfather's Parker & I'd really love to make this old pen complete; these are the only parts I need.

Thanks!
SMG
Which size is the pen?? There are a couple of readily found sizes in that year, the Standard (5" long or so) and Junior which is about 4 7/8" long. That will help determine if a part will fit your pen as both sizes had different blind caps.

If yours is a Junior, let me know, I have a fully intact blind cap.

Cheers,
Sean

Hi, Sean. Sorry for the delay in replying. I'm pretty sure mine is a standard size. It measures 4 15/16", and that's obviously without the jewel on the blind cap.
