Private Reserve's Copper Burst Ink

COLOUR is always desirable in ink, and Copper Burst does not disappoint. Its intense brown colour (with coppery hues) is attractive without being so distracting that one would hesitate to use it for mundane purposes. This ink yields pleasant shading in a wide italic nib; similar results could probably be had from a flexible copperplate nib, too, but I'll leave that the people who actually can do anything worth seeing with flexible nibs. The colour of the ink is slightly lighter than the scanned images suggests, I'm afraid; apologies for that.
IN PENS this ink has behaved quite admirably for me: it flows smoothly and rarely clogs. (All of my pens, however, have fairly generous flow, so I am not certain what would happen in a really dry pen.) Private Reserve inks are said to have neutral pH values, so one need not fear for the safety of pen, paper, hands, pets, children, etc.
ON PAPER Copper Burst is quite agreeable, drying quickly without much feathering, even on my cheapest scrap pads (which often bleed and feather with the alacrity of a slaughtered chicken). The ink is not waterproof and does fade somewhat with exposure to sunlight, so don't expect archival longevity of it. It shows no unusual sensitivity to the oils in human skin. (NB: no humans were harmed in the course of this research.)
AVAILABLE READILY in bottles and cartridges (both universal and international sizes), Private Reserve's Copper Burst will please those of you who like brown ink, chocolate, and coffee. Enjoy!
