Great, a real blue black. Another PR to buy, thanks.

I am a PR fan and this color is spectacular. It is much more saturated than either the Diamine or the Waterman inks but since I have been told many times about the virtues of D and W inks, I only use PR in my less expensive pens.

Would it be too much trouble for you to email me and explain how to attach a scan. Anytime you get a chance.
Thanks

This is a great color... great ink. I use it everyday and it's great for all purposes. Currently I have my yellow LE Meg Ink Ball filled with it... as I have since getting the pen in March. For those that like a blue/black this is the ultimate.

This is my second favorite blue-black.
Midnight Blues I find is darker and more beautiful.

You can get the best of both worlds (Midnight Blues and Black Magic Blue) by making Magic Midnight Mix, a 1:1 mix of these two inks. The result is a dark, rich pure cobalt blue with neither greenish nor reddish tones.
Cheers.

Can you post a scan of this 1:1 mix of Midnight Blues and Black Magic Blue? It sounds interesting...

Why is it that you are cautious about using PR ink in your more valuable pens? And what are the benefits of Diamine (or Waterman) that make you prefer them? I have tried a few Noodlers (Eternal Black, Polar Blue) but found that they dry up the nib and don't flow well if the pen is left even for a short while only. I tried PR Sherwood Green but found the drying time a drawback (lots of smudging and green fingers). Keen to find out whether Diamine may be the way forward but have read that they are prone to fading... Is there the perfect ink? Good flow, no fading, waterproof...

I bought this ink today and filled my Sensa Meridian with it. I find that I like this ink. It flows well and the color is well defined. I made some entries into my Journal and like the way it looks. I look forward to continue testing this ink. The only other ink that I can compare it to is Mont Blanc Blue-Black and I happen to like PR better.

I just bought a bottle of this ink last week and I think it's fantastic. I can't speak to the water-resistance of it or how well the colors stay, but I do like it a lot. I have been using Waterman black in one pen and PR Lake Placid in another, with this in a third. I find that it strikes a nice balance between the plain but striking black and the sometimes too light blue.

I have sherwood green in a rather wet medium writer at the moment, and it does dry slow. However, I like the color enough to put up with it. I have some naples blue and chocolate that i'm looking forward to putting into some new pens that should be arriving soon. :-D I'll post when i can
