Well here's another sacrifice to the New Furnace God... it's a Parker Falcon 50, with the integrated nib. I fell in love with the idea of this pen, and the beautiful stream-lined look. I purchased it used only to discover it was completely clogged. While trying to clean it, the pen slipped and the tines bent. So off it went to Richard Binder, who straightened the tines and got the pen back in great working order.

The pen (medium nib) now writes very well (has a squeeze type converter). On my first trial run after receiving the pen from Richard, I noticed a tiny black speck on the section. When I tried to wipe away the dirt with a dampened Kleenex, I realized it was in fact a tiny crack about 1/16" long with a speck of ink dried in it. Since I had never had the chance to fill it with ink before, I never knew it was there. Since then, the pen has been inked and in use, and a 1/16" hairline of ink dries in the crack. It does not affect the writing, or the ink, or anything else, as far as I can tell. If I were going to keep this pen, I'd probably try to polish a tiny bit of wax across the crack & leave it at that.

Anyhow, priced accordingly (and at a loss...) at $69 shipped within USA. Paypal cash (no credit card), check (if you don't mind waiting for it to clear) or USPS money order are all okay with me. I prefer a USA sale. Please PM me or email psoesemann at cia.edu. I check my email regularly but not obsessively, so please don't worry if you don't get an instantaneous reply. I'll do my best! smile.gif

oops - now I forgot how to add the picture... wallbash.gif I'll have to add it in as soon as I figure that out!
