Does anyone know of a source for Authentics pen clips in the USA or Canada ?

Fantastic idea! These clips sit inside a notebook spine and allow easy pen/pencil storage:

The clips cost about EUR10. No distributor information for the US or Canada that I can find yet...

Interesting site. I don't know if it's obvious or not, but some of the photos illustrate which pens do NOT lend themselves for use with the Authentics pen clip (e.g., the Lamy). The photos with pencils indicate that the clip serves as a CAP for pencils.
