Hi there. I am new to this, so forgive me if I make a faux pas with my first post...

Can anyone tell me how to find the current market value on a Mont Blanc Agatha Christie Limited Edition FP (4810 with vermeil snake and sapphire eyes)?

And how can I get hold of a limited edition Skeleton 333? drool.gif

I'd say 2500$ give or take 500$ on the bay for the Christie vermeil.

As for the skeletons you could probably try finding them in Asia (online stores), place an order with (fast) Eddy at Airline International, with Bittner or Tom Westerich? Dunno, I haven't shopped for a pen in this price range, but it seems like one where a plane ticket may be a negligible side expense.

Thanks Rob. I may have paid a bit too much then at $4000 - never mind, it's a great-looking pen, and I haven't seen many on e-Bay. Thanks for the info on Skeleton as well. Will let you know if I get one. Andrew

The Christie vermeil is indeed a wonderful pen. My wife offered it to me as a wedding present and John Mottishaw did a stellar job on the nib.

The price I've quoted may be a little outdated. There's been a noticeable inflation in some MB LEs prices in the last year or so. I wonder if it's related to the overall health of the US dollar.

PS I would also add Alex Ziskind ("alzisk" on ebay) to the above mentioned search list.

I was quoted around $5000.00 a couple months ago. The price on the the Agatha I would think will continue to rise as time passes. I think it's a great investment. Right on!!
