I used to have one and I loved it, but can't seem to find more. Are they still in production and where can I find one? Thanks!

David Mason (?) sells them on the Pentrace Green Board every once in a while for $5 I think. He also sells stub nib units for them. I also seem to remember people talking about old and new style NNs, so what he is selling might not be what you're imagining. I think the email is stubhead@hotmail.com. No association, just trying to share what I've seen.

Well, the old-style ones (without the rubber gripping section) are easy to find on Ebay....

The old style NNs are getting hard to find and the prices for them around the Net reflect that.

If you don't mind the new rubber grip style, Jim at Pen Hero (http://www.penhero.com) and Sam and Frank at Pendemonium (http://www.pendemonium.com) both have them at very reasonable prices. (Disclaimer: just a loyal customer, I get no kickbacks from the aforementioned folks).

And don't forget, if you come across any of the old-style NN ballpoints or rollerballs, they are interchangable with the old-style NN fountain pen units (just remove the spring from the bottom of the barrel).

Thanks! I don't mind the rubber grip. Are these still made?

Yep, they are called Sheaffer Viewpoints ® : http://www.sheaffer.com/instruments/calligraphy/

Interestingly enough, the nibs on these are made in Germany! ohmy.gif
I thought all Sheaffer nibs were made in the U.S.A.....

A few months back, I was looking for a good condition NoNonsense FP as well. I had searched through the pen section of eBay, looking for "Sheaffer" and "NoNonsense" as my keywords. Unfortunately there weren't a lot of positive searches. However, when I started searching using the keywords "Sheaffer" and "Fountain", I noticed that there were a few auctions for NoNonsense pens, where the seller had just called them "vintage" or something like that. Hope that's helpful...

Also, there was an ad on PenTrace from a few days ago, in which someone was selling a few of the marbled, "vintage" style NN FP's, with the gold trim. See this link here.

Good luck!

That's a good price for the "Vintage" model (gold-plated nibs and hardware); usually they go for around $20 on the Green Board.

A lot of the "No Nonsense" pens (not all) have italic nibs so if you put Sheaffer and italic in the eBay search field, and search for it in the auction title and item description, you will probably come up with a lot of auctions for the pen.
