I dont like the properties of this ink. " Clogger!!"
Nellie
Thanks for this informative review!!
I guess you have not tried this ink in different pens because of the 'clogging issue'?
Garageboy
I second the reviewer's comments. It is fun to play with, though.
Deirdre
Did you shake it before using?

Does anyone know if this ink has been discontinued? I can't seem to find it on the FPH site...
penguinmaster
I think it has been. I've been looking for it too!

I had no clogging problems with this ink when trying it in the one pen I tested it with (Aurora), but I found the color unpleasant -- not at all what I envisioned for an ink called "Banknote Green". Mine looked a little different from the scan on this post -- more like a poisonous, super-bright neon green. Think 1980's music video spandex. I sold it to a fellow Boston FPNer as soon as I saw the color. I hope he likes it better!

I actually wouldn't mind a poisonous, super-bright neon green, but then I am using a different super-bright Noodler's color today.

Yes, this definitely would have been a color you would have liked then. I like all my colors to be muted or having the appearance of having been mixed with gray. So just seeing the Banknote Green gave me a migraine!

I'll do a bigger review later, but I'd rate Noodler's Rachmaninov every bit as intensely pink as Baystate blue is blue. In fact, it makes Hello Kitty pink seem tame. I'd almost be willing to bet it fluoresces under a black light.

I think Nathan said something about most of the Russian inks having special properties like that just today in a thread in Inky Thoughts.

Thanks for your review, Tequila! It's interesting that the color looks like the old version of Victoria's Royal Mint on my monitor.

For a bright green that might be better behaved, you could
try St. Patty's Eire (one of the highlighting Noodlers inks)
