Hello: I hope you can help. I have a late 90's Imperial with the plastic body and inlaid nib.
Almost every time I uncap the pen, the back section unscrews a little from the metal nib threads.
It's a pain to continue to tighten it every time. I also don't want to over-tighten.
Is there anything I can use to make this area a little stickier, but not binding it closed.
It would be the reverse of using a lubricant.

Thanks for your help and consideration.

i got the one with the body in metal. and it happens also to me. i try to tighten it rather hard. not too hard or you might break it and it last for a while. still i think is an awesome pen and very good quality for the price... thumbup.gif

I agree. The nib is medium, and one of the best so far. I don't want to tighten too much, because I know the plastic will crack.

Bad news: Your pen is broken, it's no use to try to fix it. Instead of throwing it away you could send it to me if you like...

Sorry, just kidding. roflmho.gif
