I have a Century classic graphite black. The nib is B size and the sign is too thick for my tastes.
Is it possible to replace the B size nib with a M size one? Can you suggest a source for such replacement , possibly in Italy?
Is it possible to work on the nib with a grindstone (such as Rotring Arkansas stone) in order to obtain an M size nib?
Best regards.

Cross nibs are integrated into a unitized section. The nibs can only be replaced by exchanging the entire section.
If you're speaking about a Classic Century, Cross has discontinued the model and will not replace the section.
If your pen is a Century II, new, and you can provide proof of purchase, Cross may exchange a section with you.
Grinding can modify the size of the nib. If you want a ball-type tip, however, such grinding is best left to those with advanced skills.
I hope this is helpful.

My pen is a classic Century.
I obtained the thick sign with Montblanc black ink. After washing nib and converter I have filled the pen with a sepia italian ink and...the sign does not look too thick! An optic effect, I guess...
Thank you for help.
