I just received a Parker 75 with tortoise-shell varnish. As advertised it is in very good condition. As not advertised, there is a single small chip going all the way through to the brass in the cap.

Will the rest of the laquer peel quickly now that it has been thoroughly broken? Is there any fix for this?
I could perhaps ask for a return, but the pen and nib are really good otherwise.
