My Visconti Opera Club in Typhoon Blue... one of my favourite pens, but not in regular use because the nib isn't too good (nib was ground to a fine italic before I purchased it, but the job wasn't too good).

Stunning pen. I have one too, from Deb Kinney. She adjusted the flow and smoothed the nib before it was sent on to me. Great pen. Ya gotta love those Opera Clubs. I have three and all write great. Thanks for posting the photo.

I have the OC's cousin, the Aida. Deb Kinney also worked on the nib of mine. It was funny as this pen took the longest of any I've had to settle down with a steady flow. Love the "squared circle" shape as it accomodates grip changes.
Nice pen,

PS I think about having the italic touched up so you can use it more.

Yeah, the Aida is a bit of a dream pen for me... but just too expensive. I would also love to get a Wall St in the blue celluloid, but again outside my price range.

I would want to get the nib fixed, but I think it is already beyond repair. The iridium has been ground way down and not much of it is left... Although, it is possible to get it retipped first.... hmm1.gif Thanks for the suggestion, I might actually go get it fixed.

I previously asked the Visconti Italian office, and their quote for replacing the nib would be almost a new Opera Club on ebay.

I have to ask, who ground it for you? you can PM me if you dont want to upset anyone. I had a similar experience.
NeoTiger
It was already ground when I bought it, so it was the previous owner that sent it out for grinding.
