I know Lamy Blue-Black is already reviewed , but I thought it would be interesting to do a comparison with the Noodler's Midnight Blue I reviewed the other day, so here's a short sampling.

and for a comparison my Midnight-Blue sample-it just has more presence:



Overall, this is a perfectly good ink, but given the choice I'd choice the Noodler's midnight blue every time.

Not a very scientific test but perhaps people will find the comparison of interest, both inks were at least tried out on the same paper and in the same pen-my current favourite, a Montegrappa Miya Argento with a surprisingly flexy medium nib.

You have very nice writing, yes thr ink is a bit washed out-but at least is permanent, not the best for your pen though-make sure you get it all out when you flush the pen!

The Lamy BB should blacken as the iron oxidizes.
