I'm starting to wonder if someone mis-labeled this nib that I found while on an antiquing excursion the other day. It's fairly clearly labeled as a 9968 (horizontally, for those of you scoring at home), but when I tested it out (admittedly, only in a section, not an entire pen), I found it to be rather stubbish and/or flexy.
Anyone else?

the first 9968 I had was rather flexible too, until it broke while has cleaning it. Seemed to either be corroded or have some sort of flaw on the underside.
Just a data point.
