I have a watermans C/F pen. My nan brought it for my grandad in 1984. I am looking for information on it and was pointed in this direction.

It has a code ingraved on the inside X22863 and says "made in france - PLAQUE OR G" It is gold, although i am unsure if it is plated or not.

I also have the original reciept for the item stamped by the shop owner and dated 20/7/84.

I was planing on taken it to an auction, but was told to find out more about it.

Can anyone help?

Any help would be so much appriciated!!

Your pen looks a gold plated Waterman "Moiré" , fabricated around 1979.
"PLAQUE OR" is French for "Gold plated"
Wishing you success with your auction,

Must be new to forums... One post is usually enough.

So this is overkill. So is this, and this. Oh yeah, this is too.

And this post is unnecessary too, especially to some one new to the board. There are various forums here I never visit, if there was something I wanted to get to every one I could, I would probably do the same as the OP.

Your point about the OP's inexperience with FPN is well-taken, eckiethump, but cross-posting, especially to this extent, is usually frowned upon in most forums, not just FPN. Best,
