Whichever of you told me about getting hooked... well, I am. I am on a nib-hunt. What would be a reasonable price that I should expect to pay for the following nibs: 9284 , 9312 , & 9314B? When I am done completing the "chart" I will gladly post the price list (what I paid), if there is an interest.

Although not necessarily current, I saw the 9284 on the 'bay for $12.85.
Lisa Haynes has the 2314M for sale @ $20.00 -

Thanks, Gerry. Already have Lisa's price list. Probably I can assume that since the 9314F & M both sell for $20, that the B would sell for a similar price. Appreciate the ball-park figure (which is all I needed) for the 9284. I saw the 2312 selling for $25, so I would guess the 9312 would be at least as much. Appreciate the input.

Anyway my estimates: $10-20 for the 9314B, $15-30 for the 9284 and $20-30 for the 9312.
But I think it depends on your patience.
This is always true with the last "holes" in a collection.
Since these are the less common items, you can buy them immediately at a premium or wait on ebay and buy them at a better price.

Price varies wildly depending on how you acquire your nib, NOS in the box from a known dealer will fetch a higher price. Buy the same nib as part of a complete pen and inked, maybe half as much. I'd buy all the 9284's I could find for $15. smile.gif

All three are desireable, and I wouldn't expect $30 to be a fair average price for any of them

Tell you, what, Brian. Whoever finds any 9284s shares with the other. :-)I am sure you have by far more exposure to what's available, although I have not been to any flea markets lately. I am really looking forward to a pen show, since I have never been to one. Maybe we can make Atlanta in March next year. Thanks for the clarification regarding prices.
