I'm looking at purchasing a calligraphy set at my local store. After going to 2 stores they have very nice beginner set for calligraphy but when I look at contents of the box I never see "italic nib" or anything of the sort. I see numbers listed in reference to the nib size?

I see fine,medium,broad.

they are italic nibs, the fine is approx. 1mm, I have forgotten how wide medium and broad are.

Thank You. This explains why I I didn't see "italic" on any of the sets.
