Just got a model MC120 Deluxe with a 2.0mm niblink Will it take 100/200/400 nibs, its a pretty small pen? Even smaller than my 140, is this the size of a modern 300?

The threads are the same. I have a sole 1mm italic nib for MC110 's. The nib is a smallish stainless steel piece (and bad), but it fits into the bigger Pelikans. The MC 120 has the same small nibs with a gold plating, I assume. Just be careful when closing the cap with a longer nib on the MC body ...

The nib is shorter than a 250 nib or a 400 nib. Its the same size as the nib in a 140. Are 150 series nibs shorter?I just worry about crunching the nib with the cap. Its a nice pen, but I don't have lots of need for a 2mm nib and am trying to figure out my options for another size to put in it.

I just refreshed my supply of MC120 nibs at the art store I used to work at a long time ago. I can tell you that the MC120 nibs came in (at least) 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, and 2.0 mm italic and F, M, and B round points.

For some reason, I couldn't locate my nibs in my house, so I raided the old parts box at the store. If you are interested in Pelikan MC120 nibs, I recommend that you try art supply stores which have been around for a long time and may have old stock available.

I left a few MC120 nibs behind, a couple of 2.0 mm's and maybe a 1.5 mm, possibly an F. Call Dov Leis (like "lease") at Taws in Philadelphia, (215) 563-8742, if you are looking for nibs. In that box are some other Pelikan nibs which are not for the MC120, so make sure you verify that the nibs you're getting have the metal band around them (the other nibs don't have the metal band, so they're not for the MC120). I'm not sure if Dov will remember the difference between the two, because it's been so long since they were manufactured.

Hopefully, I'll be able to find the other nibs that I should have in my house, somewhere...

Thanks for the information and lead on the nibs. I would much rather have a 1.0mm or broad round nib than the too large nib that I have on the pen. I bought it from someone who said that it was a 150 with a BBB nib. I love the size of the pen , but would rather have a more useful nib. Thanks to you I know that there are specific nibs for these nice little Pelikans out there. My preference now is for broad nibs, but 2mm is beyond that unless you are making a poster or something large.

I found my older nibs. They were buried at the bottom of my foot locker sized Art Bin in a cigar box. I may have an extra 1.0mm and an extra Broad round point. If you are interested, send me a PM.
