If you go here there is one with a fine nib on a BIN. I have purchased from this seller, but am not affiliated. They were easy and reasonable to deal with.

I bought a fine nib Frontier at a very reasonable BIN price from an eBay seller in the UK. He has another one just like it for sale. The section is purple, so if you want to use the nib on another pen, you might want to inquire if he has other colors.

I've bought one of these from this seller. He's good to deal with.

The nibs & feed screw out so you can swap it with any other Frontier that has a steel nib. You can also swap it with a goldplated one but that might look weird...

You also want to be careful to avoid a mismatch on the chromaflair versus black section.

I have been considering buying a few Frontiers from the UK (mostly so I can get one in the Dawn color on the Parker website they tell me isn't available in the States). How long does it take to get a shipment from an eBay seller across the pond? I've bought from the Netherlands and gotten things in under 2 weeks. Would it be about the same for the UK, or is this one of those months long nightmares in the making?
Matt
Many years ago I bought a Frontier with a medium nib. I sent it to Parker and they exchanged it for a fine. I would contact Parker and see if they have Frontier nibs fo exchange.

Good luck.

Bad news for the Frontier according to a Jeanie at the Janesville repair group (where my email from "contact us" on the Parker Pen site went):

The Frontier has apparently been discontinued. I didn't write in about this but rather about whether they could steer me toward any merchant with the Frontier in the Dawn color listed on the website. She says she got that word from headquarters when she sent my inquiry up the line.

I can't swear this is new because I frankly haven't searched this whole site (or the Internet as a whole) to see if anybody knows the Frontier is discontinued, but this is major enough news in my book to make mention of it.

You don't have to worry about the chromoflair mismatch. The nibs screws out of the section so you only have to worry about the color of the nib.

I can't be 100% certain but I think shipping from the UK to US shouldn't be much different than that from the Netherlands to US. Just make sure it's airmail.

Just to update, the person at the Parker address I emailed admitted she wasn't sure if the Frontier was discontinued or just no longer a part of the US catalog. Sorry for any confusion -- this was my first email to a pen company and I thought she was making a pretty stunning statement when apparently she may not have been based on my follow up.

Hi,

They have just discontinued the LUNA collection, the stainless steel with silver or gold trims is always available, J.M.L.
