I'm sorry I know there are a ton of these out there and they will keep on selling but is this a joke? I understand that the picture says it all but shouldnt the desc. say anythin about the completely smashed nib? Or am I wrong and this is like a homemade condor / concord nib???

Yes, indeed! It is a joke, whether the seller intended it to be a joke or not.

Who would have guessed that Benz relocated to Ohio... roflmho.gif

Hmmm. He could have gotten more if he'd enhanced the description:

"...the super-flexible nib provides a unique writing experience..."

(Those Triumph nibs are really amazing. They swing both ways, baby.)

Um, I think that's a special purpose nib, designed for writing on vertical surfaces or other hard to reach spots, like around corners and stuff. roflmho.gif

Yeah, nobody was sucker enough to bite - which I guess means that there will be no more teeth marks accumulating on that fountain pen.

But maybe we have it all wrong, maybe it's not really being offered as a fountain pen. The description says the following, "Item Specifics Brand : Sheaffer Product Type: Pencil Sharpeners." So you see, it's really just a pencil sharpener that's shaped like a Sheaffer Triumph!

I guess you use that thing that looks like a wrecked nib to carve away the wood and graphite to sharpen your pencil. Or, could it possible be? is it perhaps a sharpener for mechanical pencils roflmho.gif ! lticaptd.gif ? headsmack.gif ! eureka.gif ?
