I know my wife would like a mont b blanc pen. Other than that I'm not sure what kind . I also dont know where the best place to get one is either. I'm in NYC so there's gotta be someplace around here. ANy help would greatly be appreciated.
She does have small hands and fingers, so I'm wondering if I should consider this when im getting the pen.

Since you're in NYC, you can go by the MB Boutique at 598 Madison Avenue and I'm sure one of the folks there can show you all the various pens. Are you looking for a fountain pen or a ballpoint/rollerball? If your wife has small hands, I suggest the 144 Classique size pens.

One of the top pen stores in the nation (world?) is the Fountain Pen Hospital, at 10 Warren Street in NYC.
The length and thickness of the pen will count for a great deal in determining whether your wife will be comfortable with the pen.
Montblanc's smallest pen is the Mozart, which is good for carrying in a notebook or purse.
The Classique is longer and still thin.
The Boheme is medium to short and thicker than the Classique.
It's a matter of personal taste and comfort.
Happy Shopping,

By NYC I assume you mean Manhattan, right?
I'm sure that there's a Montblanc boutique somewhere around there. I too suggest the 144 size pens. They're the smallest (perhaps?) that Montblanc produce, and if your wife has small hands, she might like that. If she can handle regular pens, then a 145 (what I have. See sig below), might be nice.

I probably don't have as much experience as all the other posters about the pens, but I can tell you that the Mont Blanc boutique on Madison is great, the staff is always helpful and I just love walking in and checking things out. You can also always visit any Tourneau as they always have a nice stock of MBs and they have locations all over the city.
The Mont Blanc store in Short Hills Mall is also a good choice, I was just there recently buying the starwalker cologne and checking out the new cool blue starwalker.

The 144 is small, but it only takes cartridges. Keep that in mind if its a problem.
Happy hunting!

Check out fountainpenhospital.com for the Greta Garbo - Special Edition with Akoya Pearl Fountain Pen. Their Price: $672.00. It is one of my favorite pens.

I think the most beautiful pen in the MB range currently is the Marlene Dietrich 1901 Edition. A little to feminine for me, but very nice to look at.
