I just posted a couple of scans on Sheaffer Skrip Jet Black, Pre-Slovenia on my blog. A proper review should follow soon. (I'm still waiting for the editing restriction to be sorted out here. Sorry to send you to another site.)

Sheaffer Skrip NOS Jet Black ink review

Out of curiosity, was the water resistance image done in 'running' cold water, or was the page simply immersed in a pool of 'still' cold water?

Either way, it's a bit of a surprise to me - the pre-slovenia skrip cartridges I've used in the past seemed to run every bit as easily as the current slovenia skrip.

Hi,

First I toss the page ink side up in an empty sink. Then I turn on the faucet (spray mode) to simulate heavy rain and start the timer. When the paper in covered (about a minute later) and there's a couple of inches of cold water I turn off the "rain", flip the page face down, and let it sit for the remainder of the ten minutes. When the timer goes off, I let it sit face up on clean paper towels until it's dry. Then I scan it and post it.

I'll be posting other NOS Sheaffers as time allows. Perhaps the others run more than the black does?

Hope that explains it,
Kate
