I bought this interesting looking pen today from an antiques shop.It has a plunger filling mechanism and a window for checking the ink level,a lot like the ones seen on a Pelikan .On the cap it's written: "STELLA" and "Made in Germany".The nib it is engraved with "Iridiu" and "51 FK".Above "IRIDIU" there is another word, starting with the letters "Fl" I think, wtitten in an oval.
If you know something about this pen, please share your infos. thumbup.gif
Thank you.

It's probably a vacumatic filler or something similiar, like a button-filler.

This is a guess, but I take that to mean "iridium-tipped".

It is a romanian fountain pen.I was fooled by the "Made in Germany" written on the cap.Still,it is good that I only payed about 10 dollars. And the pen writtes good enough for me.
Thank you for your help.

"iridiu" is romanian for "iridium".I was just hoping for something else... sad.gif

No that was Inkidu and he was his best friend, a wild man from the forest, who is killed by the monster bull of heaven before Gilgamesh manages to kill it.

I think you are talking about Enkidu.
Ghost Plane
I've seen it spelled both ways as translations from the Gilgamesh epic are problematic at best.

But we're not helping our Romanian pen owner. Anyone else have any ideas what pen they got?

Thank you all for your help.I'm about 99% sure that this is a romanian pen.I bought it because "Made in Germany" is a seal of quality to me.I thought at some point that I have something produced in a pen factory in Germany that is out of business... unsure.gif
