I sent in a Classic Century cap to have the clip repaired (it was sprung) and a new Century II rollerball Starlight (the cap was loose) and the pens were scanned in on October 14th but they aren't scheduled to be returned to me until the 16th of November? I'm just eager to have them back!

Oh stop it. roflmho.gif How about 12+ weeks for Italian pens. Weeeohhhh, 4 weeks, a walk in the park!

I waited a little longer than that for a similar repair by Cross. The job was well done.

Good news.

I sent Monday, a package with what I think is a Towndsend Sterling Silver FP/BP set that someone handed me instead of throwing it out. Yes, that's right, they were going to throw it away if I didn't want it. No box, the BP seems alright, the twist mechanism is shot. The FP needs a bit more TLC. There's a flat spot on the plastic section where something melted it and the nib might be alright but I'll wait to see what they say. Best of all, there's no converter so it looks like someone poured ink down into the barrel, screwed 'er back on, and tried to write. No metal damage so with a polish they should look good.

The Cross people received my standard 10K ballpoint for repair on the day after Thanksgiving. (The refill won't extend.) I was curious to know how long I might have to wait for the return. You've given me an idea, and I appreciate that.

i sent in a pen last week...
they received it today, and gave me a call.
said i should get the pen back most likely by week's end. smile.gif
reading the previous posts,
i guess the quick turnaround is most likely due to the fact that they will be replacing my pen instead of repairing it.
