Hello Waterman fans -- didn't get any response under "writing instruments," maybe someone can help me in this forum?
I'd like to get the slim Exception in red, which seems to generally be available only with a medium nib. Does anyone have an Exception with a medium or fine nib? How does it compare to a Carene medium / fine nib? I have several Carenes and the fine nibs are a bit too fine, while the medium nibs are a bit too broad. Most of my other Waterman pens have stubs, so they aren't a good point of comparison. The only other comparison I can think of is my Cross Verve with a medium nib, which is very similar to the Carene medium nib.
... Just wondering if the Exception medium nib will be too broad and if it will have to go out for nib exchange or regrinding?
Thanks in advance for opinions!
