Folks,

Can I ask you all to have a quick read of the post here on picture sizes please?

BTW - Can I also ask that you don't include too many quotes (esp including pics) as the threads can get very messy to follow.

Not trying to be a wet blanket and PLEASE don't stop posting the pictures biggrin.gif

Just curious. If you use the img command and the photo is hosted on a private server does the 600 pixels still apply?

Thank you for pointing this out. I had thought all along it was 1024 wide.

The size is a request only - simply makes for faster loading etc, particularly for those on dial-up connections.
In much the same way there was a request for people not to keep including all the previous quotes, only the necessary bits.

Not a huge consideration, but handy for some smile.gif

Main thing is keep them coming biggrin.gif

Normally it is not my intention to include a "quote" but am making this reply with the reply button Your previous post automatically appears in the reply frame.

Yep - just the way the software works rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif

I normally just highlight everything & delete it, unless there's a specific part of a previous post I want to directly quote smile.gif
Otherwise we can end up with a whole page of quoted stuff.

Must have a poke about & see if there's a way around this.

Use the 'Add Reply' button at the end of the post listings if you don't need a quote - that way it adds a reply but doesn't give a quote to delete.

Richard.
