Hi Bryan,

Very nice indeed! Beautiful! I especially like the one with the lake and the incredibly green golf lawn, where the hills in heather (?) reflect in the water very clearly. Great shot.

BTW, is that your house in the pics?

I was thinking only half an hour ago, while making myself a cuppa and looking out of the window, that I should take some autumn pictures. Unfortunately, it is a little grey right now, and drizzling...

Maybe later.

Thanks for sharing!

Warm regards, Wim

Thanks! I'm not quite sure what is means to have a "hill in heather", if your refering to what trees and bushes are in fall colors right now, they are mostly Aspens (The greater part of the yellow leaves) and oak-brush (They seem to be the dominate red color right now)

No! It was just such an outrageous color of Pink, we had to take a shot. Seems like they got an early jump on their Halloween decorations also!

Great pics Bryan. Thanks for posting them. Beautiful scenery.

Wonderful photos, thanks for sharing them. It's too wet and horrible here to take any photos. I agree with Wim, the purply hills do look like they're covered in heather, but then some of the photos give away that it's much bigger than heather.

Awesome shots Bryan! I especially liked the third shot with the lake. Looked like a landscape painting really. We usually get spectacular fall colour here, but we had a very hot dry summer, and it's possible we'll miss out completely this year.

Hi bryan,

Ok, it is oak brush, then, my heather laugh.gif. Don't know that brush I guess. Thanks for explaining! I'll see if I can take a few shots tomorrow morning (hoping it'll be dry biggrin.gif ).

Warm regards, Wim

I live in the valley, and still, every time I take a trip up in the Canyons and look up at the clear blue sky, I'm amazed at how blue the sky really is. Even in the relatively small city of Salt Lake, we still end up with smog. sad.gif The good news is, a trip to the canyons is only a couple minutes away!

Those pictures are pretty as postcards!
When we went to SLC it was August so there were no fall colours. It's nice to see what it looks like in late September.

Thanks for posting these, Bryan smile.gif

P.S. What nib is that in your flickr username photo?
Ann Finley
Bryan, you made some great shots! The 5th picture down in column one looks as though the whole hillside is planted with colorful mums!

No fall color here in St. Louis yet, but we may have frost by the end of this week.

Thanks for sharing,
Ann
