I'm interested in seeing some photos of Waterman Carene writing samples with different nib sizes.

I'd like to see all sizes if possible, but I'm mainly interested in the medium, fine , and Xfine nibs.

Thanks in advance

Well as I see it here, no one uses there Waterman Carene to actually write with!

My post was asking to see actual samples of writing with the Carene using the various nib sizes that Waterman offers.

Come on guys you buy these pens and then you look at them on your desk! Post some samples please.

I thought I saw some samples, but I don't find them. I agree that this forum should be full of Carčne samples.

I have about 15 pens inked right now and the Carene is not one of them. I couldn't give you any comparisons as I only have the one and it is a medium point.

Medium would be great as it's a toss up between that and a fine . Ink it up let's see !

To actually write with Waterman Carene. What a blasphemy.

Well, that's what they 're made for!

How many miles on you're car, or does it just sit in the garage to be admired?

You know what they say you gottta use it or lose it!

Having fun with you,

My 5 are out of rotation at the moment. Give it a week or so and I'll try to scan a B nib in action. Right now I'm giving "The Precious" a good workout.

I'm posting pictures of a Carene medium nib sample and comparison with some other pens. Sorry for the poor photography - you may not be able to tell much from these samples. The lines on this paper are 1 centimeter apart.

Here's the other sample. Didn't realize I could put them both in the same post. (Can't imagine why this picture came out smaller than the picture in the post above. )

Here one more picture with the pen - medium nib - Waterman Islands Lagon Carene.

I don't need to post a writing sample...my Carene is also a medium, and Judybug's handwriting bears an astonishing resemblance to mine <insert Twilight Zone theme here>

Sorry about the false start on the Carene - it needed ink! embarrassed_smile.gif
