The Dallas Pen Show starts tomorrow at 1:00 PM (until 8:00 PM) at the Holiday Inn Select in Richardson (just north of Dallas on the access road, just south of the Bush Turnpike). Admission is free to attend, and I believe all the tables were sold long ago. It has been reported that some tables had to be put in the lobby due to high demand. It also runs Saturday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Editor Bill and I will be there observing, taking pictures, recording and videoing. Make yourself a nametag with your FPN username on it. Avatar too, if you can get it printed like that. See you there!

The DALLAS PEN SHOW http://www.dallaspenshow.com/ starts tomorrow at 1:00 and runs through Saturday at 5. All tables are sold(73) with a good mix of modern and vintage dealers. The show is sponsored by the non-profit North Texas Pen Collectors Club for the benefit of its members and the greater Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. As usual we have a great group of vendors including Pendemonium, Susan Wirth, Larry Dromgoole and Boris Rice from Houston, Retro 51, Sherrell and Joel of Inkpen, Laban, Tim Pierson, and approximately 40 others. Also, Ed will be back at it doing every ones name in beautiful calligraphy, David Moak will have his hot off the press Mabie Todd book, And Bill Aker with have all of his repro catalogs available. To top it all off we have a great silent auction going both Fri afternoon and all day Sat with outstanding modern and vintage pens available to the highest bidder. This has proved to be a lot of fun for all attendees and does help the pen club coffers. Admission is absolutely free and we are having a drawing for a beautiful Waterman LE. Over 600 are expected to attend the two day show. Hope to see you there.

Regards,

Pete Kirby
