Great pics! That is a beautiful piece of celluloid. Is it still uninked?

I inked it twice but only the converter and never used as an eye dropper.

I have one of these pens, and it's a beauty -- and a wonderful writer as well! I get it out of my pen case every October, just before the leaves start to turn, and fill it up with Noodlers Habanero ink. The orange ink and the orange barrel of the pen make a nice seasonal combination, especially on those days when the autumn leaves are the same color as the pen. After the leaves turn brown, I fill it with Havana Brown and use it that way for the month of November. Then it gets cleaned up, put away, and patiently awaits the arrival of its special season the following year.

So you tag all your pens as a form of inventory control? How does it work?

I have 3 categories:
1.Parker-these pens will start with "PA"
2.Sheaffer-these pens start with "SH"
3.General-this covers all my other pens and start with "G"

Its pretty basic but it does the trick.
I keep the list in my computer with the model name, colour and estimated value.

I have one in this colossal size and a set in the smaller sizes. I also have several limited editions. They are great looking pens, and write well also. I have a Corona Del Aragon on my desk in a black Delta tray in my home office. Actually, it was the pen you showed that introduced me to Italian fountain pens and started my persuit of the greatest fountain pens... an endevor that has turned out to be extrememly costly... I think Deltas are amoung the prettiest pens made. Unfortunately they are not very sturdy. So all my Deltas stay at home and adorn my reading / writing places in my house. I continually have to resist buying any more of the limited edition, they keep coming out with pretty new ones.

I would love to have the oversize but at the time my budget only allowed the regular size. A beautiful pen though no matter what size it's in. The colors caught my eye right away and I had to have one. This is the only pen I have left from my noobie buying frenzy last year. Sadly, mine didn't write so well and skipped. It rested in the box for a long time until a couple of months ago Deb Kinney made it into a .7mm italic stub and it took on new life after that. It gets the use it deserves.
