Hello everyone,
Just started collecting FPs and bought some off the marketplace and realized that I dont have
any ink !!! Where is the best place on the net to get some ink ? What type, dont really know ?
I bought a Lamy Safari and a Hero 616.
Thanks,

That depens where you are, if you are near a major centre you should be able to get ink at a stationary/bookstore.
You need to avoid india ink though and only get fountain pen ink.
If the Lamy will have came with a converter then you can use bottled ink, if not then you will need to get cartridges, probably Lamy ones.
Not sure about the other pen.
Ink can also be bought online, from many retailers, again it depends on where you are as to what is the best option.

Staples has Quink Black. Not my choice, but it does work reliably in nearly every fountain pen.
Avoid anything like calligraphy ink!

Well...since you specifically asked for an internet source, I prefer James at www.peartreepens.com. We aren't related, and I don't get a commission, but I have placed quite a few orders with him and have always gotten great service and fair prices. You will also enjoy his ink sampler program. Check out his website.

Pendemonium is a bit of an ink specialist. They have a very good reference page that describes inks and cartridge compatability.
Swisher also carries a very large bottled and cartridge selection.
