I'm a new poster and had a question on ST Dupont nibs. I recently purchased an Orpheo large fountain pen with a fine point nib. It writes a lot thicker than I would have expected for a fine point nib and is comparable to my Mont Blanc medium point. Do Dupont nibs ordinarily write thicker?

I only have one Dupont but the fine point writes a standard fine line to my eyes.
