My first post. My experience with fountain pens is centered around artistic calligraphy, which I've been doing for over 20 years. Planning to get my first fountain pen to stamp my "John Hancock." However, still doing some research.

Well, let us know what the finalists are. In Alexandria, eh? Not too far from DC then, with Fahrney's and others (no affiliation.) What I wouldn't give to try out pens before buying them. Although I would probably end up spending too much!

Just curious, have you been going the offset oblique or the italic route?
