Hi!
I would like input on rebuilding my collection.
My vintage "want list" is as follows: Parker Vac Duofold with Vertical Stripes and Monotone Medium Nib, Waterman Silver or Emerald Ray, Conway Stewart Herringbone, Waterman 94, Kaweco Dia, Soennecken 222 in lizard celluloid, an oversize Sheaffer Balance LF in the Abalone pattern, a large Eversharp Doric in Cathay Green, an Aurora Novum (or other vintage Italian pen) in a wild color or pattern and an orange Danish Mont Blanc (better save my pennies on the last two!).
My contemporary pen "want list" includes the Loiminchay Opus in Red, Taccia Andante (did see good things about this one on FPN), Namiki/Pilot Silvern in the cobblestone pattern, Namiki/Pilot Cherry Blossom Maki-e, the S Z Leqi 929 in black (hard to find), the white Pelikan M400 with the brown stripes, at least one Signum, a new Conway Stewart 100 and Urushi and Maki-e pens from Dani-Trio, Nakaya, Sailor or Platinum, the Sheaffer Royal Sengalor Asia and a King Crown D03 or D12.
I am picky about how smoothly a pen writes. My old Parker Vac Duofold with Vertical Stripes and Monotone Medium Nib was silky and silent and has become the standard by which I evaluate all others, although I am sure there are pens just as great and better out there. Also, if I can't use a pen a as a dependable, smooth, everyday writer, I am really disinclined to buy it (unless it can be fixed or could be a money-maker).
Do any of you own some of the pens on my want lists and can you give me your opinions about them?

Welcome to FPN. I know Carl Junction. I graduated from Joplin High in 64 and my sister dated a guy from Carl Junction. You have a very nice wish list.

No, it is not my pen, but as I read through your wish list I recalled seeing one for sale in the marketplace.
Follow the link to the ad listing and post a message saying you are interested, and the seller can respond either on the board on in a private message to you.
