You're right on target re: the gentleman's unbelievable handwriting. Having been blessed with such precision and control, he ought to seriously consider inscribing plates used in the printing of U.S. currency!

Funny that this thread pops up -- I was looking at it this evening. Any idea which ink he was using? I thought it was very nice.

The ink was Ecoline Magenta, a watercolor (see here)
