Hello All:

I am starting to develop an interest in the excellent "51". I have one aero filler just back from Richard and have just purchased the book. Here is my question, please take a look at this Ebay listing. Was this type of open filler really used on the "51" or only on the 51 Special? I'm not really going to bid on this (so go for it if you want), but I'm trying to learn something about curent pricing and the different models. Thanks for any help!
Richard
First-year (1948) Aero-metric Demis have a full shroud sac guard just like the one on the Standard "51" except for its size. After the first year, Parker switched to the hoop filler shown in the auction listing. This implies but does not prove that the pen is a Demi (aka Slender). The listing does not give its length.

Thanks Richard, I was not thinking about Demi size but that makes sense. Thanks again for the great job you did on my "51", I'm using it now and it writes great!
