I tried one while I was at the factory. The line width changes when you raise and lower the angle of the pen. I like Stipula pens and their nibs are great; however, this nib didn't thrill, because I'm too lazy to change the angle of my writing, but it did work as advertised. I ended up getting a 0.9 italic nib and really like it.

sounds like Sailor's "Zoom" nib to me... I had one for a while. And while it was exciting at the beginning, the novelty factor wore off pretty fast. It was much too fat at my preferred writing angle.

Yeah it sounds like the Sailor Zoom nib (changing angle changes the thickness of line), but I was also under the impression that the 52 degree nib also has changing line variation (ie, thick horizontals vs fine verticals, changing to thick verticals and fine horizontals).
