I've always admired these, beautifully made and packaged. Somehow they never really caught on.

and nib detail

My cost is just on 100 (excluding postage) therefore 110 as many of you offer is unrealistic. Checking out fleabay prices range from 110 -199 and generally in 125 region.
I could sell for 125 plus postage and that's just about break even as I want to get one for myself. Please advise if interested.

I will be interested, if the price is right and it's available in F or M.
After all, Selangor is the state I was born in, and still live in too.
And the Selangor Pewter factory is located just a few blocks away from my former workplace.

For the right price and a broad nib, I'd be interested. Do you know how much they weigh?

$110 Delivered seems like a great price. I'd go a smidge higher, but not much. It looks to be the same nib as the one on the Balance II. Is that correct?

I've already got one but thought I would add my thoughts relative to price. I paid $125 for one including shipping and that was a couple of years ago. Thus, a $110 price seems quite appealing. If I didn't already have one, I would be tempted to buy one at the $110 price.
These pens are very nice. My only criticism is they are heavy (because of the heavy pewter body). Thus, it's not an every day pen.
The insides are based on Sheaffer's Connaisseur line so you definitely have a high quality pen.

I have the Selangeor. I also have 4 Balance II fountain pens (and 1 RB). The nib on my Selangor is different. It looks much more like the nib on my Connaisseur.

Mary P:
Thanks.
I have a few Ballance IIs with the 18k nibs. Is the difference between the Ballance II and the Selangor in the nibs just in looks? Or is there a difference in performance? Is the nib on the Selangor softer, smoother, firmer, etc. ?
