Hi there,
I am hoping someone can help me identify/value my pen. It was bought for me as a present over ten years ago but I can't remember exactly when. It was new when I was given it and came in a card box if I remember rightly but I no longer have that.

It is blue pearlised marble.
Quite chunky (closed it measures 13.5cm)
Has black top to the cap and base with double gold lines at the base of pen and cap.
It has a gold arrow clip - not sure if you would describe the markings on the arrow as raised or not, they don't stand out particularly.
It has an 18karat gold nib.
Don't know what the mechanism is called but to fill it you unscrew the barrel, dip it in ink and then slowly unscrew a long black knob to let the ink in.
Just realised I can add an attachment so am attaching photo : embarrassed_smile.gif

I have hardly used this pen because its really too large for me and the nib is too fine.
Thanks for any enlightenment you can offer.

Parker Duofold International in Blue Pearl as a guess ....

I forgot to add that that is NOT MY picture. I stole it from somewhere off the internet and I apologize to the photographer whom I did not and can not credit.

I would guess that it's a Parker Duofold Centennial, on the grounds that my (more recent) International is only 13cm long. Or have they been made in different sizes?

It's some sort of Duofold. Very beautiful, I wish people would give me gifts like that. laugh.gif

Parker Duofold international. I'm pretty sure of that.

I'm still going with the Centennial:

It is the closer match by length.

Well, on the bright sided at least you got a nice pen out of the event.

Sweet. I am but I can't afford it, I'm a university student and currently unemployed as I don't have the time for work.
