Found a great WORKING black crest vac-filler. I doesn't have the white dot. However, I haven't seen any pics like it. It has alternating black and clear stripes running longways. Is this one rare?

I'll have to wait till I've run it out of ink. Maybe I can take a pic on a white background to show the clear stipes.

OK, so here's the pic I promissed. The visulated portion is better than the picture shows, need better lighting. Is this a Crest? Also, the cap doesn't have teh white dot, but the nib still says "Lifetime". What do ya'll think.

Hi, I'm not sure of the exact designation of this pen, all I do know is it is not rare and the white dot is typically on the end of the blind cap or uncommonly on the barrel.

If there is no white dot the nib is usually a feather touch to match although I dont think this applies to the triumph nib.

I have several of these in black, brown striped, with dot and without, in both the triumph nib and the earlier open nib threaded section version.

A nice pen and one of my favorite Sheaffers.

Jay, I just sent one of these Crests to be repaired. There was a horrible LEAK where the thread meets the visulated barrel. Did any of your pens leak at this point? Is this common or do I just have a leaker?
